Niftysistas is a collectible based on the Ethereum blockchain and consists of a maximum of 1024 characters. No more Niftysistas will ever be created.
Most crypto collectibles work the exact same way. Someone chooses a topic, then randomly auto-generates or manually creates a bunch of NFTs while using some rare and some common traits and that's it. Niftysistas involves the user in the creation process by giving free choice in the combination of traits. Instead of offering a pregenerated token set, Niftysistas allows to create your own character based on a pool of available traits. You want a Niftysista with a specific hairstyle and clothing? Just choose the combination you like and mint it. You can even specify the order of traits. Want your sista to wear underwear over her pants? No problem.
You might ask how trait scarcity is ensured if anyone can just mint a combination they like. Each time a sista is created, a trait is being removed from the pool of available traits. Well, not exactly each time, because it can happen that a trait is selected for removal which has already been removed before. In this case no trait is being removed. This way the removal of traits slows down with every new Niftysista being minted. It is impossible to know which of the available traits will be common and which will be rare.
Yes, this is a novel approach that we are very excited to observe under real-world conditions. After a Niftysista is minted, not only the whole sista can be traded on secondary marketplacess, but also each of their traits. This enables owners to change their sista whenever they want. Want that one trait so badly but it is already gone or all sistas have been minted? Or you bought a sista on the secondary market and want to swap some traits? No problem.
But how does it work? At any time owners will be able to detach traits from their sista. Once detached, the trait will be removed and shows up as a separate NFT(ERC1155) in your wallet. You can then attach it to any other sista in your wallet, if the resulting sista doesn’t exceed the maximum amount of 25 traits and the limit within each trait category. An example: a sista can have only one hair style. To change the hair, you first need to detach the existing hair before attaching a new hair style.
After all Niftydudes were minted, the community asked for a feminine version, which was exactly what we had in mind to keep the project growing. But just throwing a second version with a different theme would be boring, so it had to extend the existing project while adding value for the community. Therefore Niftysistas is just the second step in the evolvement of the entire project. In future Niftydudes and Niftysistas will be able to mate and breed Niftybrats. And in the end the project will result in a game that involves all existing parts.
Each Niftysista has the following skills: niftiness, power, swag, wealth, empathy and health. Some sistas are more nifty than others while the others might be more empathic but less healthy. Skills will be revealed as soons as all 1024 sistas have been minted. There are five different skill levels and higher skill levels are more rare than others. Skills will be distributed randomly with a maximum value of 100 points for each category.
Assigning a name to your Niftysista is free (plus gas). You can change the name as often as you want. Names are limited to 25 alphanumerical characters and must be unique. No two Niftysistas can have the same name, so choose your names wise.
The first 13 Traits are included in the base price of 0.08 ETH. Each additional trait costs 0.01 ETH. There is a good reason why we charge extra for more than 13 traits. With every sista being minted, more and more traits will be removed from the set of available traits. People will be eager to get these traits, so we somehow need to complicate the creation of ugly sistas with a huge amount of traits, because the more traits a sista has, the more likely it is that one of these traits will be rare.
Yes, it is not possible to mint two sistas with the same trait combination. You can create lookalikes by using hidden traits (like invisible underwear), but they will still be unique in terms of assigned traits. To see all the differences, even between lookalikes, you can use the undress function. Just visit the detail page of a sista and undress her layer by layer. If you create a sista with an already existing trait combination (quite unlikely), a warning will appear. Just change some traits and you should be fine.

All trait images are stored on Arweave and IPFS. The smart contract contains immutable hashes pointing to the images. We also deployed a sista generator on Arweave and IPFS enabling to restore your sista from the trait combination. The combination of traits, the skills and the names are stored directly on the Ethereum blockchain.
